Digital & IP CCTV

IP CCTV - POWERFUL NETWORK SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS

Investing in a CCTV system has never been has never been simpler, and easier to manage with the advances in technology and the benefits that come with IP CCTV.

What is IP CCTV?

IP CCTV systems work by turning images and audio into data that can be transmitted over a company’s existing network infrastructure or internet connection to a central location or PC any where.

The digital technology means super high definition images that do not degrade on playback or recording and allow greater flexibility for viewing and managing CCTV images.

An IP CCTV system provides real benefits over traditional analogue CCTV technology:

Superior Image Quality

The image quality is one of the most important features of any HD CCTV system, and is frequently
called upon for police evidence. IP Cameras use megapixel technology for excellent quality at up to 3x the resolution of the best analogue cameras on the market. Analogue cameras have a maximum of 400,000 pixels per frame, whereby IP cameras record at 1.3 million megapixels and up to 10 megapixels per frame. Unlike traditional CCTV systems where the quality of the recording can degrade when copies are made, with IP CCTV, there is no loss of image quality on playback, recording or onward forwarding.

Utilise exiting CCTV Investments

We are able to easily integrate existing analogue CCTV cameras in to an IP surveillance solution. Analogue video can be digitised using video encoders, allowing images to be transmitted and viewed over an IP network, thereby giving the user all the advantages of IP surveillance, such as viewing live images using a web browser or any local of remote PC on a network.

Cost Effective

You can chose to migrate your system from analogue CCTV to digital CCTV at your own pace, to suit company budgets and cash flow as the systems can run alongside one another as long as is needed.

Higher resolution images provided by IP cameras mean that fewer cameras are needd to cover the same area that traditional cameras could cover.

With an IP CCTV solution from Fisher Security our engineers will devise a bespoke networked system which will be operated via your computer network.

This system provides a range of benefits including:

  • The ability to view real-time camera images over the internet from remote locations
  • Storage of recording on a PC, server or video recorder
  • The cost-effective monitoring of a number of sites at different locations.

Locations which have previously been prohibitive to monitor can also be included in a wireless networked system.

Smartphone Compatibility - Real time alerts and monitoring

IP Surveillance systems give you the ability to view live and recroded imahes of any camera on your Smartphone, as well as receive alarm and fault conditions via email & SMS.

The remote checking of your premises, night or day has never been simpler.

Future Proof

An IP network CCTV system can be expanded quickly and easily by simply adding more network cameras, meaning you can scale the system at anytime to meet your companies growth needs.

The equipment has the ability to integrate with other equipment such as access control and business management systems.

Storage

With an IP CCTV system local recording is not required as images are transmitted across Local Networks, to the Internet and Wide Area Networks to a central location where they can be recorded, viewed and managed on standard IT storage solutions. This presents a real cost saving for many larger companies not to mention the simple management of all your CCTV across many sites.

Multi site remote accessibility

An IP based surveillance system will give you the ability to record, manage and view imahes transmitted from your cameras remotely from any networked computer.

You can set up authorised viewers from different locations to simultaneously access images from the same camera and have the avility to view any combination of cameras on a single workstation.
